ONLINE MLXchange TRAINING COURSES

CTMLS is now offering MLXchange courses via online webinars.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


MLXchange: your first steps... Basic I - If you type http://ctmls.mlxchange.com into your web browser only to stare blankly at the screen without knowing what to do next, then this class is for you. CTMLS trainers will slowly walk you through the steps you need to utilize MLXchange in growing your business.

You'll start by getting the lay of the land with a walk through of each individual section of the website which will prepare you for working with the simplest functions in MLXchange. From managing your client database and setting up your Hotsheet to conducting simple searches this class will provide the road map you'll need to get your clients started in the search for their dream home.

Getting to know MLXchange: Basic II (class time 2 hours). After completing the Basic I class, it is time to put MLXchange to the test by performing a wider breadth of functionality. With each passing day your mastery of the MLXchange system will grow and by participating in this class you will be put on the fast track to becoming an expert.

The functionality covered in this class will help you become an even greater resource to your client. You'll get a refresher on some of the search functionality you learned in Basic I and be introduced to a more robust way to search utilizing the MLXchange mapping component.

Then, what to do with your searches? You'll learn the most effective and efficient ways to streamline your searches and share them with your clients.

Honing Your MLXchange Skills: Advanced (class time: 1.5 hours). You've completed the Basic I and II classes and mastered much of the functionality that MLXchange offers, but now it's time to truly make it your own. After participating in the Advanced class you will no longer be bound by the structure of the system, you'll be able to manage your listings and you clients in a unique way that will set you apart from other agents.

Learn how to add/edit listings and utilize the template manager. Discover the ins and outs of the column manager and how to adjust your personal settings so your MLXchange experience will be uniquely yours. Finally, add depth to your search results by learning to use the tax search functionality to your client's advantage.

Quick and Easy CMA: CMA (class time 1.5 hours). The Basic I & II classes have set the foundation for you to learn one of the most powerful tools in MLXchange, how to create a Comparative MArketing Analysis (CMA).

Creating a CMA used to be a tedious task of comparing multiple properties and figuring out adjustments by hand. Enter MLXchange, with an incredibly streamlined process which will allow you to create a CMA in the amount of time it takes your client to sign on the dotten line.

Realist: Your Virtual Town Hall (class time 1.5 hours).
No longer will you need to wait around for town hall to open to get the tax information you so desperately need to your clients. Realist provides you the ability to access all of the information you used to go to town hall to find directly from within MLXchange.

This course will walk you through the basics of Realist to help you get familiar with this incredibly powerful tool. Find sales and mortgage history, foreclosure information, short sales, bank owned properties, GIS mapping (where available) and so much more without ever leaving your chair.

You'll even discover that Realist gives you the ability to print labels for your marketing needs from directly within the program. Unlock the power of Realist with this 1.5 hour long webinar.

MLX PRO Taking MLXchange to the Next Level (class time: 1.5 hours)
You already know what a powerful tool MLXchange is for your business, now imagine adding a whole host of other tools that will help you carve out your presence in the digital marketplace. The new tools in MLX Pro will take the skills you learned in Basic I & II to a whole new level.

Imagine creating your own website without spending an arm and a leg for a web designer. Now you can. The website builder class will walk you through the creation of your very own dedicated website. Adjust colors, images, sales copy and even provide easy-to-access contact information for visitors to your site.

Once your website is built, you'll learn how leads are generated to your website as demonstrated by the CTMLS trainer.

Set your clients up with a personalized website that will allow you to directly communicate with them and allow them to communicate with you. Add listings to their site for review and manage the properties that they like and dislike in a streamlined manner that will make finding the perfect home for them a breeze.

Learn how to manage casual clients who are not in your client database and utilize the new messages and scheduler functionality to improve your availability and better manage your time.

Check Your Personal Contact Information
Personal contact information contains the specific contact information for you in the CTMLS system, including email address, cell and other phone numbers, as well as your email signature. Your personalized email signature is delivered to your clients whenever you send an email through MLXchange. To check your personal information, log in to MLXchange and click "SETTINGS" in the upper right-hand corner. Click "PERSONALIZE" and then click "CONTACT INFORMATION", verify and/or modify your profile information.

VIRTUAL TOURS: Agents are reminded that NO PERSONAL INFORMATION can be entered in the "REMARKS" field of MLXchange. This includes virtual tours that show agent photos, links to personal websites, phone/emails, etc. THIS IS AGAINST MLS POLICY. Virtual tours must be "unbranded".
