at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT. The theme for the event will be:

Time to learn new skills in a changing market
Joe Stumpf, a national speaker, master real estate coach, referral marketing
expert, and founder of "By Referral Only" will be the featured speaker.
He has a large following who attend his presentations when he is nearby. We expect
300 - 400 REALTORS® from all over the Northeast to attend. A special invitation
is being extended to all members of the Midd-Shore Association. Don't miss out

CAR
ANNOUNCES GATES SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS 50
outstanding students from across CT were awarded a total of $50,000 in scholarships
this year, including 5 students representing the Midd-Shore Association. The scholarships
were presented during the July 20th
CAR Board of Directors meeting. Congratulations
to the following:
Jessica
DiPietro attends Salisbury University where she is pursing a double major
in Political Science and History. She participates in her student government where
she serves as the Vice President of Public Relations. Jessica is the daughter
of Carolyn and Joe DiPietro. Carolyn is a REALTOR® with Prudential CT Realty.
Stephanie
Griffin recently graduated from Lyman Hall High School where she was a scholar
athlete and a member of the National Honor Society. In the fall she will attend
Quinnipiac University where she will pursue a major in Communications. Stephanie
is the daughter of Margaret and Thomas Griffin. Margaret is a REALTOR® with
Guerra REALTORS®. Olivia
Honer graduated in June from Old Saybrook Senior High School and will be attending
Emerson College in the fall pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater Studies.
During high school, Olivia was a member of the Spring Musicals, Pep Band, and
played on the high school lacrosse team. She is the daughter of Ken and Cathy
Honer. Ken is a REALTOR® with Prudential CT Realty. Richard
Senft attends Rochester Institute of Technology pursuing a Bachelor of Science
in Game Design and Development. Richard has made Dean's List all quarters of attendance
at RIT. He is a member of the Rochester Wargammer's Association and Guild, as
well as an executive board assistant in the Electronic Gaming Society. Richard
is the son of Richard and Vivian Senft. Vivian is a REALTOR® with Coldwell
Banker Residential Brokerage. Cassandra
Sodergren graduated in June from Haddam-Killingworth High School where she
was an active member in the Spirit Club, Human Relations Club, and spring track.
Cassandra participated in dance and was an assistant dance teacher for young boys
during her junior and senior years of high school. She plans on attending Assumption
College in the fall. Cassandra is the daughter of Shawn and Debbie Sodergren.
Debbie is a REALTOR® with William Raveis Real Estate of Guilford. |
